Ahead of the rise of children's fashion in the global marketplace, ABEST will participate for the first time in PlayTime, one of the largest children's fashion fairs in the world, which will take place from February 12 to 14 in New York. For this action, the Brazilian brand of children's footwear Tip Toey Joey participates in the event with the support of Fashion Label Brasil - the Internationalization Program of the Added Value Brazilian Fashion, created by ABEST in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
In the United States, the children's market is on the rise, according to data from the Milan-based fashion and luxury consultancy Fashionbi, "Kidswear Market Report 2016 - How the global childrenswear sector has evolved and what are the future trends." The industry was worth US$ 156.8 billion in the United States in 2015, and is expected to keep rising until 2020, prompting Tip Toey Joey to direct most of its investments to the country.
"The plan for this year is to expand the brand's presence abroad, investing R$ 1.5 million in communication, warehousing and logistics systems to locally serve the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Sweden and England", said Scott McInerney, owner of the brand.
