Batiche was created in 2014 from Natalie Basiches experience in fashion and her know-how in product development alongside her husband and partner, Fernando Basiches.
By offering a fashion concept that is infused with urban resort style and strong ethnic references, the designer was all over the paulistanas (those born in or inhabitant of the municipality of São Paulo, the largest city in Brazil)closets in no time, and did not take long to start getting orders from all over the country.
As the brand grew, it debuted a new and charming flagship store three times bigger than its first space inside Prédio das Heras (Heras Building is an old residential building, built in 1949, that today has become a kind of stronghold of new São Paulo brands, sheltering fashion brands, accessories, shoes and jewelry), in Itaim neighborhood, São Paulo city. In two years, the brand is sold in more than 150 of the main multi-brand stores of the country, besides being able to be found in its own e-commerce site and major national e-malls like OQVestir and Shop2gether.
The brand also has substantial strategic partnerships in its portfolio - an elegant capsule collection created on four hands with Helena Bordon (a Brazilian digital influencer) that was a great sales success being the latest.
Known for her sought-after tunics, beach coverups and caftans, the brand can be found in the closets of local celebrities such as Fe Paes Leme, Ellen Jabour, Gabriela Pugliesi, Paula Fernandes and Thassia Naves, among other diverse women.
