The fashion stylist Mariana Kuenerz, acclaimed for the sophistication of her high fashion dresses for brides, has generated positive energy by her creations that could extend beyond the moment of marriage and created Meerk - her resortwear and cover-ups for after-beach hours.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Marianna travelled extensively during her childhood and was influenced by eastern Cultures and Indian Ashrams that she attended in the company of her father, an architect of German origin and her mother, a Brazilian psychologist. Graduated from one of the best fashion and business schools in the world, the Esmod (Paris), Marianna started her Professional career in Paris at Maison Emmanuel Ungaro, reference in haute couture, internationally known as “the last great couturier”.
In Brazil after working with fashion labels like Richards and Ateen, she opened, 12 years ago, her own fashion atelier in Ipanema where she designs and creates wedding dresses and cocktail outfits. Throughout this time, she has become one of the most respected fashion stylists of the segment creating models for distinguished actresses. At Meerk, she translates her life experiences by uniting sensibility, structure and elevated values in the design of her pieces with fluidity and delicacy, geometry, and interwoven wefts.
When getting dressed for either the warmth of the sand or the moon breeze, the Meerk woman feels at one with the environment – reaching the fullness of her state of mind turning instants of her life into sublime moments.
Meerk. Inspired by light.
