Born in Minas Gerais and later based in Rio de Janeiro, Tatiana Berenguer was strongly influenced by her father to engage into jewellery and took her first jewellery making course at the age of 16 in the Philadelphia University of the Arts.
The main inspiration of her work are concepts of versatility and freedom. For this reason the “Abre Alas” collection was chosen to be her first complete collection to be launched; which represents the freedom to aspire and pursuit your dreams by spreading your wings not being afraid to fly high. The women who inspire her creations are authentic empowered multifaceted women who value creativity.
Therefore, she thrives to implement in her jewellery, versatility mechanisms, turning the user into the designers by allowing her pieces to be mixed and matched. Her solid academic foundation by attaining degrees and several scholarships for excellency at renowned institutions like GIA (the Gemological Institute of America) in London, Federal University of Ouro Preto, Veiga de Almeida University and Senai; allowed her not only to develop her work as a jeweller, but also to advance inconsultancy and assist other talented designers to improve their work in association with institutions like AJORIO and SEBRAE.
